Chairman’s Message

Dear Parents, Students, and Well-Wishers,

It gives me immense pride and joy to welcome you to DPS, Jagdeeshpur Bhaluan – a school born out of a dream to bring world-class CBSE education to the heart of rural Gorakhpur.

When we laid the foundation stone in the fields of Jagdeeshpur Bhaluan village (Kauriram Block, Gorakhpur District), many asked, “Why CBSE in a village?” My answer was simple: Geography should never decide a child’s destiny. The children of our farmers, daily-wage workers, and small shopkeepers deserve the same curriculum, the same opportunities, and the same confidence that students in big cities enjoy. That is why we chose the CBSE curriculum – a nationally recognised, forward-looking, and skill-oriented system that opens doors to the best colleges, competitive examinations, and careers across India and beyond.

At DPS, Jagdeeshpur Bhaluan, we are not just running a school; we are building a movement: A movement where a child from a mud-house can dream of becoming an IITian, a doctor, an officer, or an entrepreneur without leaving his or her roots behind. Our classrooms or buildings are not our measure of success – the sparkle in a village child’s eyes when he or she speaks fluent English, solves a science experiment, or scores 95% in the Class X CBSE Board exam is what drives us every single day.

Our committed team of CBSE-trained teachers, modern science and computer laboratories, activity-based learning, and a strong emphasis on sports, arts, and values ensure that every student receives holistic development. We are proud that, despite being located in a village, our students regularly participate in CBSE cluster meets, national competitions, and have started bringing home medals and certificates that once seemed impossible for children from this region.

To the parents of Jagdeeshpur Bhaluan and neighbouring villages, I make this promise: as long as your child is with us, we will treat him or her as our own. We will work harder than anyone else to make sure that distance from the city never becomes a barrier to quality education.
